“…I know that the king of Egypt will not allow you to go, even under force from a strong hand. But when I stretch out my hand and strike Egypt with all my miracles that I will perform in it, after that, he will let you go. And I will give these people such favor with the Egyptians that when you go, you will not go empty-handed. Each woman will ask her neighbor and any woman staying in her house for silver and gold jewelry, and clothing, and you will put them on your sons and daughters. So you will plunder the Egyptians.” (Exodus 3:19-22)

“The Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I stretch out my hand against Egypt and bring out the Israelites from among them.” (Exodus 7:5)

The fish in the Nile died, and the river smelled so bad the Egyptians could not drink water from it… (Exodus 7:21)

They piled them in countless heaps, and there was a terrible odor in the land. (Exodus 8:14)

The Israelites acted on Moses’s word and asked the Egyptians for silver and gold items and for clothing. And the LORD gave the people such favor with the Egyptians that they gave them what they requested. In this way they plundered the Egyptians. (Exodus 12:35-36)
